Studio News

Stephanie won the Level 1 competition at the 24th Classical Period Piano Competitions, held at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia on March 19th, 2011. The final round was judged by renowned pianist and educator, Leon Flesher. Mr. Flesher also selected her for the Most Promising Overall Performance Award in Levels 1-3 (Pro-School through Grade 9). After the announcement of the awards,Stephanie enjoyed meeting Mr. Flesher and having her picture taken with him.

Anna had been selected as the Young Artist to perform for the young soloists recital at the Alden Theater for the year 2011-2012.

My daughter, Rebecca Zhang, performed the Prokofiev Piano Concerto No.3 Movement One with the Shenandoah Conservatory Orchestra on Nov. 8, 2008 at the Virginia State Concerto Winner Concert of Virginia Music Teacher Association Annual Conference. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wtg82rUMMrc
